Ed Kluz was raised in the Yorkshire Dales and
lives in Brighton. He studied painting at the Winchester School of Art. He is a printmaker, illustrator, painter and designer. He finds inspiration in the historical objects, buildings, landscape and folklore of Britain.
Wunkerkammers, follies, lost buildings and artifacts all inspire his work. For although his eyes look into the past his feet are firmly in the present.
He has recently completed commissions for the V&A, Faber and John Murray publishers and is launching his first furnishing fabrics with St Jude's later this year. He is currently collaborating with Horatio Blood on his first fully illustrated book which is due to be published in 2013.
